A brilliant and richly imaginative translation of this classic play by one of the modern theatre’s most important and celebrated playwrights. A subtle and revealing study of life in provincial Russia, three sisters (Olga, Irina, and Masha) and their brother Andrei live, but dream daily of their return to their former home on Moscow where life is charming and stimulatingly meaningful. But for now, they exist in a malaise of dissatisfaction. A rare fidelity and sensitivity to Chekhov’s art.

 

All Performances will be held in the Brian and Paqui Kelly Auditorium
